GPP supported together with German and Egyptian partners young Egyptian fashion designers to found their own fashion label Allaga (Arabic word for "fancy") as well as to gather their first experience on the fashion market and to test themselves in freelancing.
What made Allaga unique was the combination of modern cuts with ancient traditional embroidery patterns, which were worked in by women craftsmen from rural regions of Egypt. Promoting the economic independence of all women was the main focus of Allaga.
