Beyond the entrepreneurial level, GPP also specifically promotes the training and further education of women in technical trades in which they have been severely underrepresented to date. We wrote one of our success stories in 2013, when, together with Mercedes Benz Egypt and AHK Egypt, we initiated the first mechatronics academy following the dual training system in the Middle East. For the first time, women were able to undergo modular training as mechatronics engineers in motor vehicles.
In the years 2016-2021 GPP extended its cooperation and conducted in close cooperation with German and local vocational schools in Jordan and Ukraine a series of training courses in the fields of dry construction, masonry construction, and mechatronics, with a special focus on the participation of female trainees.
